We participate in and contribute to foundations such as Project Linus which provides quilts for children in need whether they are seriously ill, traumetized, or just need the comfort of a new handmade quilt or afghan. We accept quilts that are made for Project Linus here at The Parish and a representative from a local chapter comes regularly to pick them up.

Parkland Parish also contributes to the Quilt for the Cure charity foundation. These quilts are made and some are auctioned off to raise the awareness of certain types of cancer. We also accept these quilts here at The Parish and someone comes by regularly to collect them.

Please, take some time to make a quilt for the children or for cancer. You not only will be helping those in need, but service always has great rewards.
